I know I'm really late on this, but we went on vacation right after Christmas, and this is literally the first time I've had a chance to sit and write.
Christmas 2008 goes down as one of the best Christmases ever. There truly is nothing like seeing your child's face light up when they realize that Santa has indeed been there. Matt had to work on Christmas Day, and he didn't want to miss seeing Reagan's face, so we woke her up at 5:30 am. Probably the last time we'll have to do the waking up on Christmas morning though!
Reagan jumped out of bed when she heard the "sleigh bells" ring, and me saying "Santa just left! Wake up Reagan!" She ran to the gate we had up blocking the living room, stood there in total awe, and whispered "SANTA! He came!" After we took the gate down, she ran in to see her new baby doll and tricycle that Santa brought her. For much of the morning she kept saying that Santa brought her a "boys bike" we think because it's red...but she since seems to have gotten over that. She would also sit on her bike and wave out the window while yelling "Thank you Santa!"
Matt was equally as excited when he opened his PS3...
