Yaygo

For Christmas, Chris and Hannah gave Reagan and I a set of Yoga flashcards. Reagan has always enjoyed doing a bit of yoga with Uncle Chris, and now we have our own little yoga studio at home every night. Except it took me a bit of time to realize what it was that Reagan kept asking me to do. After Christmas, she kept saying "Mommy, can we do yaygo tonight?" Totally clueless I would say "sure" and then hope she forgot. Finally Matt deciphered what she meant, and we've been doing our nightly yoga routine ever since.



We're a perfect pair for it too. We're equally unbalanced, both totally lack co-ordination, and yet we absolutely LOVE this time together every night. When done correctly (or at least not totally INcorrectly), it does provide a GREAT stretch - which I've been enjoying since working out every morning has been leaving my legs really sore. And more importantly, it provides Reagan and I a good 20-30 minutes of sheer laughter.




We can't wait for Charlotte to be mobile enough to join us!

And in Charlotte news... she had her 6 month checkup on January 5th. She's 16 lbs 4 oz, and 26 1/2 inches long. She's also started eating solids...and loving every second of it. So far she's had rice cereal, carrots, apples and peas. Tomorrow we're moving on to bananas. And Matt whipped up a huge batch of sweet potatoes for her to try this week as well (let's hope she likes them since apparently there is a LOT of them).

Reagan and Charlotte continue to be the BEST of friends. They are constantly smiling and laughing together. Once one of them starts laughing, the other can't help but laugh. And it snowballs from there. I can only imagine the laughter our house is going to see as these two monkeys get bigger.
