Reagan is now almost 4. She can go from being the most angelic little girl, to seemingly posessed in a matter of seconds. She is headstrong, independent, exceptionally intelligent, and hilarious. She loves to learn and she loves to make us happy and proud. While she tests the limits at times, she's genuinely a good girl who wants to do what people expect of her. That little trait reminds me so much of myself as a little girl... (not so much as an adult!)
Charlotte is turning 1 in two weeks and I can not believe it. This past year has flown by. It never ceases to amaze me how much she has grown in a year, even though it seems like it's only been a few months. Charlotte is sooo very different from her big sister. Where Reagan was always cautious as a baby, Charlie is a little daredevil. Her favorite game is to see how high she can climb. Reagan's big red chair is her favorite toy - she positions it in such a way that she can climb on it, then either dive off backwards, or push it over so she falls head first towards the floor. So far someone has always been nearby to prevent an injury, which may just be making things worse... Charlie finds the whole thing hilarious. Just tonight she tried to climb from the ride on cow INTO the grocery cart.
She is just as sweet and charming as she is crazy though. She loves music and has good rhythm for a McNichol! And she is such a good eater. Literally the girl will eat anything you put in front of her. As her birthday approaches, we're weaning her off the formula and the bottles. I started 2 weeks early, but it really doesn't seem to be fazing her. I think she'd be totally fine if we just gave her milk in a sippy cup from now!
And both of our girls are sooo easy going and willing to try new things. They love adventure and just go with the flow. Here are some shots from our recent camping trip. Charlie loved just hanging out in the pack n play or stroller all day - and the freezing temp of the river didn't faze her at all! Reagan's got her second camping trip under her belt now - at the ripe old age of 3 - and would probably move into a campground if we let her. She was born to be a little river rat!
I love that they travel so well as we've got a big summer coming up with trips to Tahoe and New York!!
